<p>We have identified an issue with one of the hard drives on Nicole servers  raid array. The server is currently performing a live raid rebuild and its 90%  completed, once the array rebuild is fully completed we will be taking the  server offline for a short time to replace the degraded hard drive from its raid  array. Server performance is normal and its running fine with the remaining  drives.</p>
<p>Progress:&nbsp;The rebuild has finished and we will be shutting down the server to swap HDD0 now.</p>
<p>Progress: Hard Drive is replaced and server is rebooted and back online.</p>

The mother motherboard is currently being replaced and the  estimated downtime to replace the motherboard is 1 hour. We will update this  post once the server is back online.</p>

<p>Recently, server Jessy had some minor issues resulting in the named servers to crash and experience some downtimes on few occasions. This is due to the fact that there are too many accounts hosted on Jessy server along with certain websites that are monopolizing the resources available on the server, causing the services to crash. We understand these issues are very frustrating for our customers and we have decided to upgrade Server Jessy by tripling the number of CPU's and memory and upgrading the SATA &nbsp;hard drives to new SAS 15K drives. We believe these improvements were needed to maintain uptime and reliability in order to keep all valued customers 100% satisfied with our services.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We have identified an issue with HDD2 and HDD0 on US server Nicole, the server is running fine with the remaining hard drives on the raid array however the 2 degraded hard drives requires to be replaced. We will replacing HDD2 first and once that drive has completed the array rebuild process we will then be replacing HDD0.</p>
<p><br />The drives are capable of being hot-swapped while server is online, however due to potential OS lockups and possible raid corruption we have decided to swap the drives after taking the server offline. The downtime for the maintenance should be completed within 1 hour .</p>

<p>HDD0's raid array rebuild is now completed successfully. We are now replacing HDD2, we will keep you updated with the rebuild progress.</p>
<p>HDD2's raid array rebuild is now at 41%.</p>
<p>HDD2 91% completed now</p>

This is due to the fact that there are too many accounts hosted on Kylie server along with certain websites that are monopolizing the resources available on the server, causing the MYSQL and Apache to crash. We understand these issues are very frustrating for our customers and we have decided to distribute the 50% of the accounts from Kylie server to new hardware node Erica.</p>
<p>We believe these improvements were needed to maintain uptime and reliability on our SEO servers in order to keep all valued customers 100% satisfied with our services. Thus as of today we will be moving certain amount of resellers to our brand new SEO servers. Those customers who will have their accounts moved to our new servers will be contacted personally in order to be informed about new WHM login details.</p>
