What is a Wildcard DNS?
What is a Wildcard DNS?
Solution
A wildcard DNS record is a catch all record in a DNS zone that will match all non-existent requests for a domain name. For example if someone visits me.yourdomain.com but you did not create me.yourdomain.com the wildcard will forward that user to
www.yourdomain.com
.
If you need to setup Wildcard DNS for your domain, please contact our Technical Department with your account details and we will set it up for you.
